4 o'clock coffee

Origins

So here is the origin of this blog:

I work from 6:30am – 3pm, 5 days a week, and was incredibly bored when I got home until the evening.

I heard a pastor preaching and he read from Mark where Jesus would rise before the sun and go to a private place to pray and spend time with the Father.

I thought, “Man I should change my work schedule so that I could get up real early and spend time with God”.

Then God screamed back at me, “I have given you two hours after work each day!”

So, I purchased the $130 bottomless coffee mug from Bruegger’s to keep me honest and began spending time with Jesus day after day.

Jesus began to do and reveal some incredible stuff to me that I felt too valuable to keep inside me.

So a relationship was rekindled, an expensive mug purchased, and a blog created.

  1. Brad, this blog is so great! I’ll be reading! I can’t wrap my mind around $130 worth of coffee haha but whatever works for you!

  2. I just found your blog and I’m really inspired by your posts. I’m inspired by your use of the time God provided for you — and being an evening person myself – feeling somewhat encouraged about my own schedule.
